We welcome newcomers and allow potential new members to the group to come along and play for free for a maximum of 3 weeks, thereafter we require players to pay the weekly session fee and become U3A members if not a member already.

Previous experience is not necessary and no equipment is needed.

The group is of mixed ability and the emphasis is on social mixing in of players so that everyone gets an opportunity to play against players across a range of standards. Singles play has priority for the first 30-45 minutes of the session, thereafter doubles play has priority depending on numbers..

We have 5 tables for game play plus a ball machine for practice during the session.
