We are a friendly group who visit beautiful gardens once a month (not in the winter) within an hours drive of Shipston. We mostly go by minibus from the Square in Shipston but if the garden is fairly local we sometimes use our own cars and can offer lifts to those who do not want to drive.
You will need a reasonable level of fitness and the ability to walk on some uneven pathways. You don't however need to have any specialist knowledge of plants, members are happy to share their expertise.
