If you'd like to grow your own vegetables (and flowers), but not sure where to start, and feel daunted at the thought of taking on a whole plot, then come along to our plot and have a go. We have an allotment in Shipston with small plots for four members, plus some areas in common (strawberries, raspberries and rhubarb). There is something very relaxing about being at the allotment. And allotmenteers are very friendly folk. Even if we are not all working there at the same time you inevitably get into conversation with other allotmenteers who are always happy to give advice.

We sometimes meet for coffee to make any decisions about the allotment, or arrange to meet there for specific tasks. Otherwise it is very fluid and you can come and go as you like. We have all the essential equipment, which can be shared, although you may prefer to use your own tools.
